Hi diddle,

Just wondering how you manage a bath! I hate them and usually shower although they can hurt sometimes. Anyway, tried a bathe yesterday and stayed in itless than 2 minutes...what a waste ofwater! I just couldn't get comfortable as the bathe was too hard (of course it's hard) If i sat up it hurt my shoulders and back, if i lay down it hurt my bum and hips...think i may buy a child's lilo to put in.

gentle hugs Bumble x

OMG Bumble sounds just like me and if I go for a shower I can't stand too long and it takes forever to wash my hair it's quite long as tipping my head forward or backwards kills me,can't sit or kneel in shower same reason as bath.

Social services provided me with a small grip rail which is very useful for actually climbing into the bath - my shower is over the bath and I need to get in every morning. They also gave me a bathboard with a handle so I can shower sitting down. Then when I want a bath, I sit on the bath board and cling onto the handle, but I need hubby's help to lower myself into the water - and get out again. Having the seat to rest on means I don't have to get in or out all in one go. I have a half-way spot :D
