Headaches

Today was hit with pain from the waist down & thumping headache & fatigue... Is this fibromyalgia? Or a virus help please 🙏

It’s hard to say for sure but the symptoms you’re describing I have almost daily. Headache or migraine along with pain in the arm, hips, abdomen, lower back, knee and feet. Some days I’m lucky not to have the headache but the pain doesn’t go away even with meds xxx big hugs

Symptoms affecting our bodies should always be checked by a GP. Not everything is down to Fibromyalgia. You will need to have lots of tests to have other things ruled out and unfortunately it's not a quick diagnosis.

Only your GP would be able to tell if you had a virus or something else. It would be a good idea to give your surgery a call to be on the safe side.

Thanks everyone who responded gp said the migraine was to do witb the fibro flare from the waist down was horrendous! Even woke me up with 75mg of amitriptyline in my system!. I've been recommended cocodamal.

Hello , sorry too read of your horrid pain, there are some nasty virals out there right now but for a piece of mind I would ring your surgery , out of hours 111 service are very good I’ve found as well, bad headaches and fatique are symptoms of Fibro but I would seek advice , take care x
