Hi, I hope you are as well as can be.My Sertraline has been increased from 50mg to 75mg 3 days ago and I now feel quite anxious again! In your experience, is this fairly normal and how long can this last?

Thank you for your response.

As you do not have fibromyalgia the responses from people on this forum will likely not be relevant to you as they will either have other meds in place or benefiting from the sertraline for their fibro.

Sertraline takes several weeks / month to kick in. After 3 days you may have been hoping for a change and thought you had one because of the placebo effect, now your mind realises that the actual benefit of the drug isn't there. This happened to me when I first started on Sertraline. For a few days everything was great, then reality struck.

i had this when on citalopram. I had to reduce the dosage back and eventually moved to another medication.
