as we all know, most if not all of us experience such crippling fatigue and those of us have hectic lives -does anyone rely on energy drinks like red bull to keep them going?

Couldn’t get up without my 2 coffees in the morning 😉I cannot bear the smell of tea , I do treat myself too a 48 pack box of Nescafe unsweetened cappucino s normally off Amazon or eBay who ever has the best deal, cannot always go out so alittle treat 😄in a small cup, found it much cheaper than buying the 8 packs in the big stores .

Yes I'm the same, first thing I do is have two coffees! My husband bought me a nespresso machine for our wedding anniversary, spend a stupid amount of money on coffee now but don't go out for it so much so it's slightly offset 😁

Hi ScooterzsNot recommended for regular use I'm afraid. They are stimulants for forcing a quick burst of energy. Most contain glucose and caffeine that are known to have negative affects on anxiety, heart and gut if used regularly.

I have regular blood tests to check my VitD and my consultant says take Selenium.

I hope you find something that helps.

Take care

Gigi

I find for me green tea or cacao helps aswell as vit b complex . I can’t take red bull etc makes me jittery & get palpitations

I do not drink energy drinks. I have a heart condition and have been told explicitly not drink them as they are bad for your heart especially if you have a pre-existing heart condition.

Personally i wouldnt go near them - i get jittery even on non decaff coffee! I buy the best decaff i can afford and unsweetened flavoured decaff coffee for a treat.I find high energy stuff gives a sort of 'false energy' so massive spike in energy but quickly followed with a huge dip downwards.

It does depend on how much an individual body can accept- mines rubbish at any stimulating food or drink!

I personally have never used energy drinks, very rarely drink coke, fizzy drinks etc. I have always had one coffee per day, mid morning, and I've recently changed this to cacao which is lovely, gives me the same boost, helps fill me up and helps my mood too. I take B12 when my energy level are depleted.

I have never drunk energy drinks, and Gigi said full of glucose and caffeine, and not good for the heart etc. I have one cup of coffee a day, mid morning, and a few cups of tea a day.
