Good morning 55lady,are you new to this site?If so a very warm welcome to a wonderful site full of very kind, caring and supportive people.Have you got a local CAB where you live as they should be able to give you all the advice regarding benefits and what you are entitled to.Iam sorry that you feel so low and have no energy, how long has it been a struggle for you like this? How much help/support do you get at home and do you have regular rest breaks to recoup? It sounds as if work is getting to be too much of a struggle, maybe you will have to think about reducing hours or stopping work.Iam 39 and I had to give up my job as a nurse 8 years ago which has been hard but I do get by as a single mum with two kids.Your health is the most important thing at the end of the day.All the best, xxx

Good Morning Haribo36, How are you? Thank you for your kind reply. Just feel all alone with this conation. Been suffering last 3yrs but got diagnosed this summer. Im living alone children have left the nest & I don't want to risk losing this part-time job if not going to qualify for any help. Im finding it a big struggle mostly with Leg stiffness, wrists & crunching neck. Thank you again for you time. xx

Hi there, don't apologise for it not being a positive post, that's what we are here for to help when people are down, it great to have some fun too, but never feel you have to apologise for any sad posts, that's when you need us the most !! :-)

I'm with haribo about asking at your CAB, they are very helpful. I am not sure how many hours you have to work to qualify for working tax credit, but that could be something you could find out about, There are charities which you can apply to for help as well, if you want some details of these I could let you have them if you message me. You could also message Mdaisy and ask if there is any information she has through FibroAction that could help you.

Hope this helps a bit :-)

Hi There Foggy. Thank you for your reply, feel a lot lighter with lovely support on this site. Im just pushing myself to be normal but its all getting to much,,, work lack of sleep. Tablets just make me feel worse next morning but do have a little more sleep with relax sleeping Tab. I would be most grateful of any information , living on a very low wage just need some help with my illness. Im on later this eve due to afternoon shift, Only work 16hrs which is morn than enough for me. I don't shy away from work but just need some help in some way. Hope you are well, have a restful warm afternoon. Thank you .. xx

Hi again,Iam aching an aweful lot and ibs still playing me up.Ive not been well for around two months now and have got very depressed :( It sounds as if you will be entitled to benefits and you can also apply for PIP which is replacing DLA.Do ask about this at the CAB office and also about a blue badge and bus pass. You need to get all the help you can especially being on your own.Iam also on my own but I have two young kids. How much help/support do you get from your kids and friends?I find it hard as I have no one supporting me which is why I get help from social services. This is a great site for friendship and support and we also have a bit of fun too.We are doing a virtual panto later at 2.30pm,do look out for it later :)
