Hi everyone my doctor has just swapped me from oromorph to longtec has anyone else been on these tablets please and if so what are your thoughts thanks 😊

I have a Longtec prescription but I very rarely take it unless the pain is unbearable and it's between Friday afternoon and Sunday morning because it has some side effects that I find very unpleasant that last the full term of the slow release drug.I am incapable of doing anything or thinking coherently but it does mask the worst of the pain.

If you can take Oromorph, though, the side effects may be less extreme than mine so don't let my experience put you off.

Thanks for that Carit I've only switched over a week ago and last night felt horrendous had to go to bed so can you tell me what side affects were and what else do you take instead please?
