fibro crash moments happening more frequently
Hi LouiedeekAs fibro can be different for all its a case of looking for balance and good self care all the time. That prepares you for the things that can throw you off balance. Like a virus or emotional life event.
Talking therapies can help some people.
Search the website for people's tips on what helps. It is hard to have a positive mindset but it helps.
Sleep is essential for me and saying no to others. I am sensitive to foods when I am ill.I have learned to accept help.
It feels so hard to be told there is no "cure"
I have learned what makes me crash and sometimes how to stop it in the early stages.
I hope you find things that help

Hiya, as Gigi said fibro is quite an individual beast. For me, I've had to accept it and accommodate it but I'm fortunate that I'm no longer a single mum working long hours (for 18 years!) and my kids have grown up and left home and I now only work a few hours a week and I can now pace my life better and give myself some self care. Stress, doing too much and working too hard make me crash. I also find my heat mat helps, gentle exercising and staying away from upset (this one isn't easy!) help but I don't always get the balance. I'm currently in a fibro crash too but I know it will pass eventually so hang in there, tomorrows another day and be selfish where you can! take care x
Hello, some helpful replies already, for me personally it’s much more pacing and even sleep sometimes, being kind too yourself , we never know when Fibro crashes will strike &s0met9mes annoying when they do, I’m glad at the moment I’m home more with the horrid cold, wet, snow etc , there are some many viral things going about with lots of people poorly at the moment , trying too keep away from getting something on top as that’s even harder for us Fibro s too bounce back ,take care xx
