I have only found the full spectrum medical oils that work. I am on the full spectrum oil and flower. I read all about it on T21, and then they recommend clinics for the private assessment online and I get my on prescription now, I pay private. It is so much better and my mood and aches are much more tolerable.
Nothing will ever take all of our pain away unfortunately and I just keep getting new diagnoses’ and more things that hurt, cause pain, and are life restricting. But all I know is I don’t think I would be here without medical cannabis.
As use My access clinic and everything is done online, gets sent to pharmacy and then delivered to my door 😁 I wouldn’t waste your money on anything else here in the uk.
Hi - I've been taking CBD oil for over 4 years, & find it helps dampen down my pain (from Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome which has some similarities with fibro).
It's best to start with a low strength CBD of 2 -2.5 % strength & just start taking it slowly, i.e. 1 drop 3x a day for a week; 2 drops £x a day in the 2nd week, & build up by an additional drop 3x a day for each of the subsequent weeks. If you start feeling a little worse, drop back down to the previous week's dosage as that will be the right amount for you. Everyone is different, so will find different dosages work for them. Also it can take a few weeks to find the benefit of taking this regularly.
You should check with your pharmacist/GP if taking any prescribed meds (or anything containing codeine that you might buy over the counter) as nearly all prescribed meds are broken down in the liver at the same place CBD is also broken down. Therefore a time gap would be needed (4 hours) between taking any such meds & CBD.
I use a full spectrum CBD oil that contains 40% CBDa which is helpful with pain. If you search for 'CBD green oil 2.5%' that's what I use, which comes in either a 10 or 30ml bottle.
Hi Inthepark. I use Body and Mind Botanical Original 40 MG CBD Organic Tea Bags which I prefer to the oil as I find them more comforting to drink. bodyandmindbotanicals.com
