Hi, why not give the DWP a call and ask them to send you a form. But please remember just because you have been diagnosed with fibromyalgia that you are not automatically entitled to receive PIP.
Hi, may I ask if you are in pain and think you may be entitled to claim PIP. Why are you waiting to go to pain clinic before putting in a claim? Why not claim now?
Been admitted to a pain clinic wont make how you feel any different right now.
Its how your pain effects you on a daily basis they need to know about. The.
For example the Pain clinic may say yes your in agony and give you a bucket full of medication to try. But at the end of the day it still comes down to you and how you are coping in your day to day life and routine.
The pain clinic or a GP for the most part can only pass on the the information of how you tell them you feel. Unless you have something they can see on an x-ray or blood test for example. And Fibro does not show up on either of these tests unfortunately.
