I would just like to thank everyone who responded to my post - forewarned is forearmed so I can now approach the GP with confidence. I will request a referral to a rheumatologist so that we might actually get some answers-I know that if it is fibro there is no cure but at least it might be a long awaited diagnosis. My daughter has been struggling since she first started high school and been fobbed off so many times by different GPs and had so many tests, including a colonoscopy and an ultrasound, that it would be good to finally be getting somewhere.

Thankyou you all so much and I will be back with an update for you in due course
