Check this out guys. Just starting it, so can’t comment. If it’s too much to read, listen to the videos. They make sense.

I've done this course but in cornwall it was done via video chat with other fibro peeps and couple of medical professionals (can't remember their job titles now pretty sure one of them was a psychologist who specialises in pain and fibro).
It was super knowledgeable and gave me a better understanding of fibro. We even had a pain consultant come in for a session where we could ask questions. It all really helped me hopefully you get something positive out it. Would be interesting to see how different it is with it being just online material 🤔
Thank for sharing
Glad to see you got something out of it Knightqueen84. I’ve often had similar thoughts to what they’re promoting, so am quite excited. As you say, the video was really informative and made you feel better about yourself. Just a new way of looking at things, which can’t do any harm. Was on a high this morning, but now I’m shattered 😂😂 Little steps. Thanks for replying . I’ll keep you updated 🙂👍
Do hope it helps you. Please let us know how you get on.
Just to reiterate if anyone does decide to follow the program, little steps. Half an hour’s distraction doing something you enjoy isn’t a lot , but if you try to do too many half hour stints, it could backfire. I did and now I’m suffering with very painful cramps in my legs. If I recollect correctly, the program suggests it could take from six to eight months for the body to realign. The last thing I want is for any of you is to experience new and irritating pain on top of your suffering. Please be patient and take things slowly. Even if that means just doing one thing a day. We’ve supposedly got this for the rest of our lives, so easy does it. Peace and love to everyone of you amazing people. Blimey, sound like a sixties kid😂😂
Good Morning kyryptonite59
I was also referred to the same hospital and the same program & pain clinic . I remember them giving me leaflets to look it up. When you’re so fatigued and concentration span is bare minimum. And everything to do with paperwork and reading material makes my head go like mush. So it didn’t work for me. I hope it works for you. Good Luck. And enjoy your long weekend.
That was me first time it was given to me, so totally know where you’re coming from. I just got to a point where I needed something; up all night in pain, holding back tears of despair; so looked at it again. If you haven’t already, just check out the video on the introduction page. It just made me want to try again. God knows most of us must have felt like giving up at some point, or other. We have to keep trying. Hope you can make the most of the decent weather we’re having. Stay strong Nannyfibro. That feeling of losing your intellect may be down to medication you’re on. I seemed to suffer badly with that when I was on Gabapentin. It’s not been as bad since coming off it. Still feel like I’m losing my marbles half the time, but not as much. Take care.
