Hey everybody, hope yr Christmas was good and manageable. I have pain in the heel of one foot which has made the foot feel as if its swollen and tingly. I've had pain before in this heel but it normally subsides after I've sat. Since I went shopping with my hubby before Christmas it's continuous and is very difficult to walk on. The pain is right around the edge of my heel and no so much under my heel. I also have had pain on the top of my other foot for ages now and it starts from near the toes, which doesn't allow me to bend the foot as if I'm gonna tip toe so consequently I have to limp so as not to bend my foot as u do when walking. It now has moved up to the front top of my foot to where the front of your ankle is. So now I limp with both feet (very difficult and tiring) aswell as my bad back making me walk slow and laboured. Any ideas what the feet pains are ????? I know you've often mentioned on here about plantar faciitis just wondered if its that or something else as I don't recall anyone mentioning the feeling of feet being swollen. Also any help with what I can do to help , I know you've also mentioned some kind of socks. Anyway thanks for reading and await your help AGAIN ☺️ Frenchi

Pain in feet
Hi, I suffer with a lot of foot pain too. What I find helps is at night to wear compression socks. You can also use a tens machine and also try rubbing vicks vapour rub on the bottom of your feet
Thanks for yr reply. So wearing compression socks at night , how does that help with the pain of walking on them all day ?? Also I tght u wasn't supposed to wear support stuff at night , is it different with these??
It's getting worse for me. I feel for you if it's like my pain. So I'll be getting some socks and giving them a go. Thank for recommendation xx
Frenchi 😁
I brought a special planter fachiates boot on amazon, that helps a lot with positioning . I wore in bed and in the morning I could walk again at least for a few hours then would put on again. If you're in hospital and need compression stocking after c section or other surgery ,they don't take off at night?
I am having and have been having pain in my feet under the heels. I was told by my GP in 2020 that it is plantar fasciitis and don’t beat myself up about it. After icing my heels it did ease off a bit for a while. But now it’s back and much worse I my right foot and also moving into my toes too. Icing a elevating are the only things that ease it off a bit but you can’t do that all day. I have been seeing a podiatrist and he said I need to have some imaging done. I’ve had x rays done and they have come back as normal????? Now I’m waiting for some ultrasound imaging done. Keep asking for help because it’s definitely not normal to have pain like this. Compression hasn’t helped mine only ice but some people prefer warm too but that just aggravates mine. Losing weight is another advice but that’s not easy when it’s so painful. I hope you can get some relief soon if not get to your GP
Hey thanks for your reply.Ya know the pain is constant all day. If I rest for an hour or 2 and then get up it's excruciating. It only alleviates once I've been to bed all night, but then once up for 15/20mins it all starts again. I have pain in both feet so now find it really difficult to walk. But hey, now I'm just repeating myself .
I really do feel for you and going to get the answer and having tests and xrays, well good for you, because I don't bother anymore, haven't done for years. I feel what's the point, and I don't mean just cos of Covid I mean well before that.
I can , however see me having to kick start it all again as things are mounting up and I am becoming increasingly embarrassed about the way I walk and try my hardest to walk normally without the pronounced limp. Maybe going will not help in that department but I do need a good MOT.
I actually think the cold would help me too as when I'm in bed I move my feet to th4 coolest part of the bed so I will start to do that. Maybe I'll buy something that u can freeze and place on like u do for migraines.
I actually lost a bit of weight and am determined not to put it back on and I'm going to begin Yoga soon to help with being more supple.
Anyway I do hope your Dr's/Hospital visits result in getting yhe help you need and fingers crossed it gives you relief.
Many thanks again for tour reply and
HAPPY NEW YEAR TO U 🎉🍾
