Does anyone find any herbal teas, supplements, vitamins, particular foods or drinks help (or aggravate) their symptoms? If so, which ones?

Hi Panda, welcome to the group. I see you have posted a few questions and rightly so. Fibro can be a nightmare to get to grips with that's for sure.
I was wondering if you have tried our seach box?
You may also find our main site a great help. It is full of fantastic information.
One other thing. I see that you have left your post unlocked to this community only. For privacy reasons you may want to lock it.
I hope you enjoy the rest of your evening 😊

Hello, A few years ago I came off gluten, dairy, tea, coffee, soda drinks and reduced my carbohydrate/sugar intake by not having cakes/biscuits/sweets/chocolate. I take a probiotic capsule plus multivitamin daily. As my menopause seems to drive my fibro; I have Chinese herbs from my acupuncturist which increases my energy and calms the pain somewhat. I also haven't had alcohol in years though I do miss it I am no longer on medication but I've somehow learnt to deal with this awful condition. Fibromyalgia affects every individual differently which has made it even harder for the medical world to find a cure! Good luck and take care
I take vitamin C/zinc and multi vitamin, doctor recommended to help my immune system and vitamin b when not in the Summer months, me personally I get on fine, always good too run things by yourGP or practioner nurse. I drink ginger /lemon herbal tea sometimes especially if my tummy’s alittle upset but nice too drink for a change too normal tea/coffee. X
Nr 5: Many of these can help or aggravate and it's very individual which do.
I can list you 20 supps etc. that aggravate and 40 that help mine, some of them very directly, I have 100s of foods/drinks that aggravate my stomach, gut or sometimes bladder, so I'm down to 50 and am trying to increase again.
It's better to start with the symptoms and trying these one by one. Usually it's a hyperacid stomach or IBS that will cause the most problems, some things may increase insomnia or zombify us.
