Fibromyalgia muscle pain
Hi Saraht90, yes I also have bad calf pain. It feels like its right in the edge of cramping . Mainly in my left calf.
So do I, Sarah. I had my worst recently. It held for ten 2o seconds. and when I moved my leg it gripped again. The agony. It happens when I lose too much fluid. I tend to drink more water. Taking potassium, calcium and magnesium supplements always calms the cramps down for me. Good luck.
My calfs are sore 24/7 have done for years told docs but not interested...they are sore the now .
Yes - I often get severe leg and feet pain when getting out of bed, lasts a few seconds and eases off slightly when I start moving
I find massaging my calves before getting out of bed with something like Musselflex tends to help. I have also taken the supplement Coenzyme Q10 and jn my case it has really helped with this. Good luck in finding something that helps.
Be careful, I had bursitis that lasted over a month then terrible calf pain, to the point where it was too agonising to walk. Xray showed osteoarthritis and a blood clot in my calf, now on blood thinners for 3 months
Both my legs continuously ache every day. They don't feel like my legs no more. The doctor gave me Ketoprofen (way before I was diagnosed) which is a gel which I used to put one once a day now twice sometimes a bit more.
Hope you get some relief very soon xx
Yes one of many pains when I wake up, dread moving my legs. As BreesyGeezer says right on the edge of cramping. When I have had a bad night with them my calfs are really sore for a couple of days. It seems looking at posts no one is fairing very well with fibro at the moment. I also get cramps in the front of my legs in my shins and my ankles. Ankles feel like they may break.
For calf pain as well as plantar fasciitis under feet I do the typical calf stretching exercises regularly all throughout the day. For cramps I drink more (in my case soy or almond milk), some say magnesium, but it's the drinking alone helps me.
