Hi there I wonder if anyone has any information or any ideas how to cope with divitculitis flare ups??

I think you would be better going on a site that concentrates on gut problems, There is some excellent explanations and advice on diet etc by Guts.uk run by the charity gutscharity.org.uk. It is a site recommended by the NHS for more information.

My father had it badly so I can imagine how you must be feeling. Hope you feel better soon.x

Hi,I dont know if this will help you but i had bad flare ups for 25 years but researched and now take acidophilius and digestive enzymes, i hardly have any flare ups now feel normal again,they are expensive but worth a try,hope this helps you

Well sometimes the doctor gives me antibiotics but best I can advice is rest.People try to push food on me at times and say that it’s not spicy and I say no .I do feel pathetic as they insist it’s not spicy so I explain it might not be spicy to them but any hint sets me off in agony.I take lanzoprosole to protect stomach which helps but really anything seems to set me off.I really have to take a step back and lay on couch and have even lazier days than usual as can’t do anything else.I would contact doctor first to ask for some help thou.hope you soon feel better
