Stabbing pains

Hi I have pains in my thighs like someone has a voodoo doll and is constantly stabbing at my legs with a hot poker. I also get the same pain at the backs of my ankles. I have just changed from amatryptaline to gabapentine but the pain seems worse. Does anyone else have these symptoms?

Hi, leg pains are the worse for me too. Are you on anything else than gabapentine? I take tramadal, duloxtine and pregablin. It's quite a mix and they don't always work unfortunately. So on here I too asked advice and got lots of things to try. I found magnesium spray a godsend. It's a trial and error I'm afraid until you find out what helps. Do lots of research so you are armed with lots of facts. Good luck and take care x

I’m on naproxen for osteoarthritis arthritis in all pelvis joints and paracetamol. Dr said next option is pain clinic and it looks like I’m heading that way.
