I have been struggling with extreme pain mainly in my legs since having my booster. I have muscle pain ongoing in my carf and thigh muscles but it has become unbearable since the booster - is anyone having similar experience?

Pain after booster jab
Yes Lilly, I had exactly the same problem plus more, I managed to move my injected arm after 5 days, I could not stand on my feet for the same length of time, a lot better now. I have been told these symptoms show ps the antibodies are working after the booster.
Just rest and don’t push yourself to do anything until you can. All the best 💐🌷
Yes unfortunately I have the same sometimes it has been difficult to walk. It has been two and a half weeks now after my booster and I have to say today has been easier as I have rested more and not pushed myself. Hope all those suffering from it eases soon. When I mentioned the side effects from the jabs to my acupuncturist he actually said it was good to have some side effects as it shows that the body is responded so hope this is the case for all of us. Take care.
Hi Lilly , I’m so sorry it’s the pits I’m the same . I also have extremely painful lymph nodes and severe pain in and under my arm that’s been spreading and I hurt all over . I’m sleeping an awful lot too just hoping it eases soon . Hang in there . Rest as much as you can . Gentle hugs
Hi Lilly57. I had the first two AZ jabs with no problem. Had the Pfizer booster last Wednesday and since then have felt absolutely dreadful.
It seems to have flared up my fibro and then some! Dreadful aches and pains in my back and legs. Upset stomach and total exhaustion.
I will NEVER have another one ever again.
Hope we feel better soon. Xxx
Hi Lilly,
I had a much bigger reaction on my booster compared to jab 1&2.
First two jabs were AZ and booster was Pfizer. I’m still extra achey and fatigued compared to my own normal but does seem to be improving after a week here.
Hope you feel better soon.
Best,
Paul
Hi yes I have had dreadful pain in my thigh muscles and my upper arms, didn’t think it was the booster but it has only been happening since I had it. Hope it only temporary for both of us.
I had what I thought was unconnected pain after first AZ jab in legs and left foot, convinced myself to have 2nd jab, severe problems with hands and lower arms. Now in back mostly upper. Thought it was started to improve after six months but now worse again after moving properties. Too afraid to have booster. Barely go out due to mobility and sciatic pain.
Hi all. The same here. I had AZ for my first two jabs and was really tired for a couple of days. I had Moderna for my booster at the end of November, I have been totally exhausted since then to the point I feel physically sick, never had that with fibromyalgia before. My legs have been worse than ever, I have RLS. Although I feel for everyone, it’s a relief to know others have had similar issues following the booster. I suspected that was the reason, but now I’m sure. Thanks for sharing everyone and I hope we all make enough improvement to enjoy Christmas x
Hi Lily, For 9 days I felt sick, leg pains, fatigue, cold and hot sweats, red hot lump on injection site and under my arm was swollen and sore . I'd rather have that though than covid and it'll pass soon for you am sure. Hope you feel better soon. Have a lovely Christmas x
Hi Lily, I was the same for over a week. Could barely walk, I actually fell in the house, the pain was horrendous and was all over. Just try and rest as much as you can. Hope it passes soon x
Hi everyone so sorry to hear a lot of you had serve pain and fatigue or 3 of my covid jabs have been Pfizer and apart from a very painful arm for few days it didn’t effect my fibromyalgia cause I’m always exhausted and in pain I haven’t notice anything out the ordinary
Merry Christmas to all and don’t over to do it
The following the Moderna booster I started with very strong pain through my left leg making it difficult to stand or walk. Throughout the day it moved to both legs then the rest of my body. The pain reduced after 10 days but remained generally higher with increased fatigue levels again and reduced function. I decided to call the GP as I didn’t have this strong a response after the first two AstraZeneca doses. He said it’s an immune response to the vaccine and myalgic pain response. He said he would except me to feel it worse than other people and take longer to subside.
Thank you so much to everyone for your time and response. Its so easy to become isolated with fibro - I am really struggling with work and worried about letting people down. It's lovely to have such helpful responses.
I 've had three Pfizer vaccinations now. First laid me low for weeks!
Second my GP told me to rest so much more before and after and that helped to keep it to a fortnight of distress and the booster gave me severe headache next day and a sore arm!
Felt absolutely gratified when other healthy folk had the same reaction to the booster!
Always good to be supported by other people's stories, eh?
I wasn't prepared for the headache and thought it was a migraine and took all the wrong meds! Paracetamol was all that was needed and a day in bed!
Felt fine after about 8hrs! So grateful to feel ok again...
However, not mixing with anyone!!!
