I’m in the same boat, I have started hot yoga classes 3 times a week despite dizziness and walking zigzag because of poor balance.

I do this exercise with extreme stiffness as my nerves and muscles are like a metal. Nevertheless I manage to have a good 3 or 4 hours of sleep 3 times a week if my bladder is not overactive.

Never heard of it? Google it, it’s so good for fibromyalgia. Basically you do your yoga in a big oven 🔥🔥

Sounds like your doing really well considering. Do you find hot yoga better than normal yoga? I used to do a lot of yoga now holding myself back as not sure what’s helping and what’s not

I personally prefer hot yoga as the heat relaxes your muscle and nerves. Plus you sweat 😓 so much that you can easily shed your £S. 🔥🤣

Have you tried changing your pillow? I slept with 2 pillows that were too high. I now sleep with a flat pillow and a feather one I can vary the height (plumpiness) depending if I'm on my side or back. That helped my neck/shoulder issues, also gentle exercises for that area.

Funny you should say that, I did change my pillow a couple of weeks ago to a flatter pillow and it seems to have helped a little. My physio says I have a tight thoracic spine so I have been doing exercises to help improve that. It’s hard to see progress tho as I seem to wake everyday the same

It will take time to loosen up and stay loosened. It probably took years to get into this bad state so be patient and kind to your poor body :) Also think about what you are doing that aggravates it into being tight, try to do it less and with more breaks. I also find just doing one repetition of an exercise/stretch periodically throughout the day useful rather than trying to do loads of reps in one go.
