Has anyone’s Fibro been worse since getting covid jab

Covid vaccine
Without question there will be. But also people who have not taken it will have got worse. Correlation does not equal causation and our community seems to follow the general experience of wider society in relation to covid and the vaccine.
attached my general response from pre March that still seems to be the case.
Was your Fibro worse after the vaccine too? Has it Improved at all? My Fibro got to a point where it was manageable but now I can feel it going back to the days where I’d have to miss work and be crying in pain
no not at all. Bit of sore arm was all I had. Point I was making above though, was that pre covid people went into flares all the time and they sometimes thought they could pin it on something but that was mostly a guess and most of the time people could not explain they went into a flare.
A vaccine is a notable event like a full moon so more flares will be attributed to it. But for vast majority of people a couple of weeks and any vaccine "hangover" will disappear but most after a couple of days.
Weirdly, all fibro symptoms disappeared from my left arm (where i had my jab). Sadly this only lasted for about a week.I had some widespread pulsating pain and discomfort that i don’t normally have for a couple of days after. But this was bearable due to the usual background pain, discomfort, & fatigue i am used to.
Hope this helps
Yes my 'Fibro' really flared up after my first jab in February, has not really left me since, BUT that could be a side effect of the AZ vaccine, lack of exercise due to isolation, don't include me in your figures, as a significant reaction to the AZ, due to my Schwannomatosis, so change of vaccine booster is now recommended, as now feeling more "human" as effects of AZ 'slowly' wear off!😗
Vaccine made no difference at all
Not personally, my pain is much the same unless I have a Flareup.
Hi. I felt really awful for a few days after my jab and just needed to sleep but it doesn't seem to have affected me long term. I hope nobody does feel worse in the long term but I guess there will be some. Possibly not the vaccine though....could just be another flare up.
Thank you for your reply ! I’m really hoping I start feeling better soon as I had the vaccine 6 days ago x
Vaccine made no difference. Just a sore arm but went away after a week.
