Its a bureaucratic step for the majority of people and moves it from being on an emergency use basis to a biologics license basis. While it is a US regulatory step it is an important one and one that the other vaccines will follow with the wealth of safety and efficacy data they have built up.

Will help those that have perhaps been hesitant.
