Hashimoto's Thyroiditis

Morning lovely people

Saw my doctor yesterday and was told I have Hashimoto'sThyroiditis . I believe its linked with Fibro? I feel so drained and still in a lot of pain from my neck to below my shoulder blades and down to my wrists. I try and stretch but if I stretch just a bit over I cramp all over . Stretching feels good but like I say can only go so far.

From having a significant heart condition and on drugs to help with my Angina ., also due for a angiogram next month to check if I need further stenting.

Would I stand a good chance for pip? I've been in agony coming up 3 months. I am having help filling in the forms from CAB as my frame of mind is int good at the moment very depressed .

The pain is so debilitating. I am on so many painkillers and just over a week ago started 50mg of Pregabalin 3x a day but nothing really helps. I do gentle stretches and pacing but csnt go far . Do warm compression but no good.

Well , i hope you all are having a good day and wish you a pleasant weekend 😊

Hi, there is no evidence that thyroid conditions are linked directly to fibromyalgia, however it can be a comorbid condition.

Re pip, it is based on how your conditions affect you, not what you are diagnosed you.

Hi there, if you feel you fit the PIP criteria. I would say there is no reason not to apply for it.
