Why can't I reply?

Earlier today I made a comment that someone has replied to. I would like to reply back to them. However, it appears that I can't reply to anything anyone says. What is going on here?

Thanks very much for your reply. And I just realised that I used my real name in that message. My memory is good for very little! Is it possible for you to delete the post with my name on it?

Cotswolds25121 would not be able to edit your post but any of the admin team can or you yourself can. However, there does not seem to be a name used on your posts.

What does PMed mean? I would like to edit my name out of the message I posted asking why I couldn't reply. I think that closing down the thread, at least temporarily, was a good move. But It's probably not a good idea for me to leave my name visible.
