Has anyone been to see Dr Chris Jenner - Fibromyalgia Specialist in London?

I was diagnosed in 2016 and have been on the same medication since then but I feel that some of them are not working as I have been getting worse. I was thinking of going to see Dr Jenner to see if perhaps he could maybe help tweak my medication or help in other ways. Has anyone else been to see him and is it worth going to see him. Tia x

if you search you will see a number of people have or have considered it. However, if there are meds you have not tried then your GP can prescribe them potentially.

Ok thank you I will have a look.

Tia, I hope you have lots of pennies lol, will be costly, ask your GP to tweek your meds, it’s basically the same thing.

After years of frustration with various GP’s and following a recommendation from a friend I went to see Chris Jenner in Harley Street and it was the best money l have ever spent. He is a specialist in his field so understands totally when you explain your symptoms, he hasn’t got a magic wand but will work with you to find the right meds to manage your pain, you can have follow up telephone consultations, he will write to your GP and hopefully your GP will then issue NHS prescriptions as recommended by Chris, rather than having the expense of private prescriptions. So my advice is yes, it is worth going to see him! Have you googled him and his pain clinic? There’s quite a lot of info on there that might help you make up your mind, good luck!

Thank you for your reply I have googled him and that is what has made me think about seeing him because at the moment I have very little mobility and I’m not sure about the meds that I’m on. My Gp doesn’t know what to do with me and won’t change any meds but you have made my mind up that I will go see Dr Jenner. Thank you x
