Hey everyone! I wanted to join a few groups including this one to see if I can relate to anybody about my chronic pain.
My doctor initially mentioned it could be Fibromyalgia, but no official diagnosis, 18months later Iโve plucked up the courage to restart investigations and talk to my doctor again ๐๐ป
Im just worried there could be something else going on (e.g MS) and scared to get misdiagnosed.
I donโt know if anybody else has similar experiences but any pain I do have itโs always on the right side of my body including electrocuting one sided tongue pain!! I could go on about my symptoms but I would take up too much space. ๐ Thank you for reading ๐
Hello ethne sorry you're another newbie. You definitely need investigations going but im sure you can put your mind to rest about MS. My concern is your tongue. I also have this but its down to intercranial hypertension plus a compressed trigeminal nerve. So definitely need investigating to rule things out
Been told I have PBC, also been told the pain isnโt from it, unexplainable pain shoots down arms, sleep time is the worst by morning itโs partly zing, once Iโm upright and moving , been increasing in severity for a year now tried everything from acupuncture to herbs nothing helps
Sorry to hear, I hope you receive the pain management or physio that you need ๐ I wonder if an irritated nerve might have something to do with it as that sort of pain is very different to treat compared to muscular. Sorry you mightโve heard this information before
