Hi LoneEra.

Had the video linc with pain clinic and they are not convinced I have FM? I am already on Duloxitine but no suggestion on new meds or treatment yet as they want to see me on a face to face appointment in a few weeks to assertain what is going on? All very confusing but they were very thorough and hopefully I will get a diagnoses. my GP originally thought I had FM after all the tests I've been through and really could not find anything seriously wrong and could not explain the pain and discomfort I am going through. Thanks for you reply

Hi Barny. Oh, that’s interesting, but also confusing! It’s good that they will see you face to face and that the wait isn’t too long. Always best to be absolutely sure on the diagnosis.

I would advise writing down a brief history of your symptoms and taking it with you. This will help them understand your situation in just a few moments.

Also it can be helpful to write down all the questions you want to ask as sometimes you can just hand the sheet over to them and they will work through each question with you 🙂
