Eye pain with fibromyalgia

Anyone suffers eye pain with fibromyalgia I have been having really bad eye pain in both eyes feels like someone twisting muscle behind eyes

Hello, I see you are new to our fibro group so let me wish you a very warm welcome.

Its not unknown for people with fibro to have eye problems. After all we have muscles in our eyes.

But have you seen an optician lately to have your sight checked. Also if you are on a Pc, phone or even read a lot it could be eye strain. Also I know from having severe dry eyes that can make them ache not to mention stress and a all host of things that may not be fibro related.

If I was you I would start with a trip to the option xx

Yes had my eyes checked and they can’t find anything

Sounds like it could be muscular. I get it very bad due to eye strain. I tend to give my eyes a 24hr break from phone, laptop, my beloved books and even the TV. For me resting the eyes and bathing them in cool water and using tears eye drop is my way of dealing with painful eyes. If possible sitting quietly with my eyes shut for short times through out the day also helps xx
