I was diagnosed 6 months ago with Fibromyalgia and what a 6 months it has been πŸ€¦β€β™‚οΈ me personally im struggling to come to terms with having a condition that is potentially life long and is poorly understood by my NHS gp. Could anyone point me in the right direction for a fibro support group around the Midlands

Thanks in advance πŸ™‚

If you google Fibromyalgia Support Groups in the West Midlands quite a few will come up. Often they have monthly meetings but many of those have been put on hold because of lockdown.

I am also sure that Hazel_Angelstar is giving you some details as well.

My gp said to join a forum or support group as the people there would probably have more insight as to how fibromyalgia affects your life and things that they have tried that helped more than he could. It is sometimes just good to know you aren't on your own with this confusing illness.x
