Morning all and Happy New Year.

Quick question, is anyone else on 600mg three times a day. My GP has advised that this is the dose I should be trying. I believe it’s the maximum. I’m presently on 300mg three times a day. Thanks

Thanks. I was on pregabolin and now been changed as it didn’t seem to be working. To be perfectly honest, my symptoms seem too severe to be fibromyalgia but need to believe what the Neurology consultant has diagnosed. The pain in my knees elbows hands and my muscles is extreme especially when I waken. Struggle to turn in bed and get out of bed

I’m on Dufloxatine and I take co codomol for back and hip pain but this is arthritic, very different from my other pain

I live in the USA 🇺🇸 and my Rheumatologist increased my gabapentin to 1200mg twice daily.

I discussed this with my Internist and he told me this is not the maximum dosage for gabapentin.

I can increase it more if needed.

I’m able to tolerate the pain at this dose and want to spare my kidneys and liver from damage as much as possible.

Because we all so uniquely created beings our experiences are the same too. What works for one may not work for others.

Since you do have arthritis it’s possible you have many types that can overlap in producing symptoms and pain.

I searched for 60 years for answers to one of my conditions. On my last attempt I finally got my very rare diagnosis. Sometimes it seems so daunting and futile to push on but I’m so glad I tried my last time as it resulted in my diagnosis which proved all my other attempts that failed and the ridicule and deplorable treatments those previous doctors put me through was well with it because I had written proof I wasn’t crazy or attention seeking or making up my symptoms. I also finally got medication to help me survive such agony I prayed for death to end my suffering.

I’m sooo sorry about your suffering and pray that you will get it sorted soon and the treatment you so disparately need.

Hi, I take 600mg 3 x daily, this is not the maximum dose as I was told it can still be increased. I have also had pregablin and ametriptiline but they did not suit me.

Hi. I am on 3 x 300 (900mg) 3 times a day (2700mg a day) so you still have wiggle room for an increase if needed.🙂
