Yes!! I'm as tired as I went to bed, even after 10-12 hours of sleep. It's one of the symptoms and after 10 plus years I've learnt to live with it. Just sleep from 10pm to 7. 30most times and catch up with extra sleep a couple of times a week - going to bed at 8pm. Then I am strict with myself and get going. My vitamin B12 injections monthly helps for a fortnight or so.
Good luck
Hi Kezz
During the week well Monday to Wednesday I have to get up at 5.30 for work by the time I get home at 4 I am straight to bed I am lucky that Thursday onwards I can sleep as and when I feel like it but I can sleep or feel like I want to sleep for days my GP told me I probably have CFS and am currently being checked for ME also having blood today.
I take a high dose of VIT D and have learnt to just given in and accept my body is not a machine.

Thanks. I'm the same..I work part-time (long hours) then use the remaining few days to rest (3 children permitting!)
Take care 🙂
Hi Kezza, I’m in the same situation and hoping someone can suggest a solution 😴
I have M.E/chronic fatigue syndrome too and I wonder if that is what makes me sleep so much. I can get up for a while in the morning then sleep through lunch. Wake up for dinner and go back to sleep. It's no life at all.
I am constantly tired yet seemingly cannot sleep. I hardly get any proper rest and any I do get doesn’t really benefit. Very frustrating
Yes, I think its the Covid Effect. For me it is at least. Lack of exercise and mental stimulation.
I am the complete opposite, barely sleep a wink ever but thankfully I can function pretty well (thankfully) I think right now I would love to sleep for lots of sleep xx
I know how you feel as well. ..although I'm tired all the time my sleep is always disturbed by waking up in pain or nor being able to switch off
Sending out hugs xxxx
I tried explaining my tiredness to my GP by being honest: if I try to just walk past my bedroom door but see my bed, I just want to go in and snuggle under the duvet. Many a time I give in and do just that. Still don't think he understood, he just thought I needed a nap because I'd not slept enough.
