If I don’t go for a walk or cycle ride I become really stiff and sore, I am sure you are all similar. We all know regular exercise is good for Fybromyalgia, I certainly know if and when I do too much. But what I find strange is that going for a walk often makes my wrists sore when I get home, anyone know why that happens?
Take care all, stay safe gentle hugs Dxx

I find exercise very important but if I overdue it then I sieze up and sometimes have a flare up, getting the balance right for me is paramount, could it be that maybe you are slightly over doing things?
Hi Debs, like you I know how important exercise is important but you are right, I think I must have over done things, not sure why as I have walked that particular walk plenty of times before. Today and yesterday my hips and thighs were having a real go with themselves!!! But why should it affect my wrists, I don’t use my wrists when I go walking? Very perculiar!! Take care. D xxx
Sadly Fibro works in mysterious ways. I find that my legs and thighs are the worst affected by fibro - so they are always the first to cop it when I overdo it
I don’t think any of us truly feel we understand this painful disease/illness, sometimes we do things and no problem, do it again and some thing kicks off. Glad you are all there for support. Thank you and stay safe D xx
I suffer wrist pain too and have to wear splints otherwise it's agony. I also use biofreeze gel which helps a little. Sometimes I can go weeks without pain then I get a bad flare - one of those weird fibro things I am afraid. Hope you find some relief soon.
