Just introducing myself

Hi I'm new to the community i really need to join a group with people who understand my family really try but don't understand how hard it can be a times so I'm looking forward to getting to know you all

You will find lots of friendly helpful contact here though I guess we all wish we didn't belong to this particular club .

I have had FM for more years than I care to remember but though they try my family still don't really understand.

How long have you been diagnosed ?

Hi thank you for the reply i have had the symptoms for 6 years but for 3 of them i was told it was hyper mobility but after i was seen at the hospital they finally after 3 years changed it to fibromyalgia I'm currently on butec pain patch and antidepressants but my body is getting used to the medication again so im stuck at the min in limbo x hope your not to sore and tired

Hi. Welcome. I have found this site really helpful - there is so much I can relate to and I have found really useful advice. I hope you find the support you need. That said, we all need our family and friends, even if they can’t totally understand, they will always love you x
