Does anyone have a rough idea of the length of time between dwp receiving my form to assessment date please ? TheY received my form feb 13th and although I know they are probably working differently at this time I expected to hear of at least a future assessment date.

Personally I think the Government should be pressured to speed these up and just go on the form details unless they need to call the individual. It's disgraceful that it's taken so long for a first time assessment, my husband applied earlier in Jan or Feb. Surely there must be some way to get these done quicker by petitions or something? I know they are probably prioritising Universal Credit at the moment, but if you don't want to go down that route, why is it so long-winded and unnecessary? Seems very cruel and I wonder why some groups haven't done anything about it, or are/have they?

It’s stressful waiting and then I’m sure the stress will go through the roof when I have the assessment
