Hi all!

Just wondering if anyone has used a weighted blanket and found it helpful? I’ve seen they can be helpful, but wondered if anyone has any experience with them? Thank you!

I love my weighted blankets. I have 2 - one is a normal blanket that I use over my lower body. My other one is shaped to sit over your shoulders.

They help me at night with my restless legs - still restless but not so severe. Also when I'm getting a lot of nerve pain, the weight seems to ease the intensity of the pain.

I thought so hard about getting one as they're really expensive. However I found one on ebay for £49 and I'm not a small weight either. I decided to give it a go and i absolutely love it. It's like being hugged but very gently, it really really helps me. I got a double size one x

I'm a definite yes. I could have a high tog duvet but light weight. I would still need a blanket but I've got an old fashioned heavy blanket which is very soft too. So yes heavy for me plus I need to wear socks in bed too. That helps me sleep and assists with pain. Hope that helps. X

Thanks for the replies everyone! I didn’t want to splash out on one before seeing if they work! Think I’ll definitely invest in one!

My sister gave me one for Xmas but it was too hot then to try (I'm im Australia) and because I can't regulate my temp I still find it too hot. But after reading these replies I might give it another go.

This is what I’m worried about as I hate getting hot in bed (I’m in the UK so I don’t know how you cope!) but I’ve ordered one so hopefully it’ll be okay!

Yes! I was sceptical but I find it very comfortable and I doze off so much quicker! I think I got mine reduced on Amazon-it was under £30 anyway. Try it, I wouldn't be without mine now.

Love Kate xx

Yes, I have a 12 pound weighted blanket that helps me on rainy, stormy days. It seems to off set the change in barometric pressure. But, on normal weather days, I am unable to tolerate the weight.
