Covid19 Coronavirus or my own personal favourite "bat soup flu"
People get really annoyed at me online when I don't use the proper medical term but well I'm not going to lie I am feckin terrified and humour is all I got to fight this with
They used to say "laughter is the best medicine" and you know what right now you may as well give it a try
You never know you might like it
So go stream your favourite comedy watch your favourite comedian and laugh - laugh like you have never laughed before
We are living in scary times and the truth is we know some of us won't make it to the other side
Every day i take time out to laugh and joke with my wee boy and I leave him each night with a smile (we live apart so it's video calls) and I always say I want yours to be the last face I see when I fall asleep
After all ....well one day I'll forget to wake up - let me go with a happy image in my head
Hug your kids even if it's just a virtual hug have a laugh and we will beat this
Stay safe everyone
Ps it's coffee and cake at mine as soon as this is done and your ALL welcome and you're ALL coming ๐
Much love and best wishes folks - good luck. ๐๐๐

I love what you wrote and can't wait for the coffee and cake.
Mothers day was so difficult not being able to give my kids a real hug. But when it's over they are going to be so sore because of my arms cuddling them. (Older kids who've moved out).
I've been told how chirpy I am at mo but the only other option is gloom and I refuse to go down that hole.
All the changes and restrictions are happening so quickly everyone is finding the present run of events scary so don't feel alone. You are right, when you can have a bit of a laugh it takes your mind of things and it makes you feel good. I'll come along to that tea party your having. xx
My mum lives with me, and every day so far this week, we have gone up to the allotment to work the ground, to get it ready for planting - sheโs 72 and Iโm 43, but with chronic pain conditions (thatโs why Iโm here!) so weโre taking it slowly. Thereโs a little robin that watches us, so I put all of the worms I find in one place, and they then pop down for their dinner..... itโs the small things like that, that I am taking the time to enjoy.
We also feed the birds at home, so I get to watch them here as well. Itโs so relaxing & we have jackdaws who are setting up home on the chimneys in our road, so theyโre coming down to feed too... I love the corvid family of birds.. I would love a crow to sit on my shoulder and just squawk at people I donโt like ๐คฃ hehehe!
I completely agree with laughing out way through this madness and I think the tea party should be themed as the Mad Hatterโs!
Enjoy the small things that you can and smile and the world smiles with you... fart and youโre on your own ๐
Sound advice! Weโre doing the same and using humour to get through it. Look for the positives too, Iโm really enjoying the lack of traffic, itโs like it was before we became a SatNav short cut! ๐
Keep on with the humour it's what keeps me going ... I am terrified too.. anxiety through the roof, missing the grandchildren, looking forward to cake at yours xx
And me, I want tea too after all this is over I think alot of people will still be in the habit of social distancing and we'll all be sat really far away from each other drinking tea lol
I tried to be a bit upbeat like you, but my post was removed all I said was it's weird that in the Disney film Tangled, Rapunzel is in isolation for 18 years and the kingdom is called Corona (its true I wasn't being silly lol)
I thought it was a strange upbeat post but nope, it was deleted so go carefull calling it bat soup flu on here lol
Absolutely love this!!! I am the Joker in our family and friends......I can not stand the woe me people! Smile and the world will smile with you ๐๐๐๐๐๐๐คก๐ฅณ๐โ๐ง๐๐จ๐ฅช๐ญ๐โ ๐ฆ๐ฅฃโ x
Totally agree with you, me and my husband watched Friday night dinner last night and we were both roaring with laughter. It really is a good medicine. Stay safe. X
