Feeling down

I started on 60mg duloxetine tablets for fibromyalgia a few months back an I have to say it’s really made life easier. I’m still in pain but i can still carry on with everyday life . It basically numbed pain slightly ! However this weekend I’ve been in agony .. pain in my neck, hands , legs, ribs collarbone ,eyes and extreme fatigue . I’ve spent all weekend in bed sleeping . My boyfriend even noticed how much I’ve been sleeping . I’m going to have to call in sick for work cause the pain and tiredness is too much . I don’t understand what’s flared it up . I’ve been living in a shed in my parents back garden in order to save for a deposit on a house which has been stressful and this week I have to apply for an extention on my mortgage application as my house is taking longer than expected . I don’t know if the stress of that has flared it or the weather . I felt like I was getting somewhere an now it feels like I’m going backwards again :(

It’s probably a combination of everything :-) have you been pacing yourself? We tend to think oh it’s a good day quick do everything and then pay for it later down the line! Allow your body time to recover but try not to stay in bed all day etc try to walk a round a bit even if only to the kitchen for a drink etc as stopping completely is just as bad! It’s a fine balance I’m afraid :-( x

Hi LozzieC, yep you do pay later if you overdo things but staying still won’t help the joints as mine lock up especially my knees. Hugs 🤗 & love 💕, K4ttt

Hey Annab124, I’ve had Fibromyalgia for 10 years & I'm yet to go to sleep from last night even though I'm shattered. Time to get up soon & not slept yet. Most probably the stress & definitely the weather has flared up your fibromyalgia as it does. The pain is indescribable. I have it all over now & always had a strong pain threshold. Good luck with your house & hugs 🤗 love K4ttt 💕

Might be your body adjusting to the medication it should settle after few weeks xxxx
