Yes I have had no end of trouble. I can have periods of a few hours, a few days or even a few weeks when certain teeth can be painful as though I need a filling redoing or even need them out and as mysteriously as the pain starts it will suddenly disappear just like other parts of my fibro riddled body. When I had my wisdom teeth removed I had terrible pain in the gums even though they Xrayed the gums and couldn;t find anything wrong. The specialist who took my second wisdom tooth out waa good enough to arrange an xray on the gum where I had had another wisdom tooth taken out the previous year and as I say it was clear. She said a few unfortunate people and they were mostly people with fibro have continuing pain for no reason. She said just because we can't see anything doesn't mean it isn't hurting you and was very sympathetic. She said to take painkillers but probably like you I am already on too many. I have found putting bongela on the gum or rinsing with a Difflam rinse which has a numbing effect has helped. Hope it eases as you have my sympathy.x

Hi Rosewine,

Thanks for your reply, glad I am not on my own with this, I have exactly the same problem, I have three playing at the moment, just don't know which way to go with it, would love to have them all out, take away this pain, but then that probably wouldn't work. Drives you potty doesn't it. I have been using oraljel, not tried the difflam but I will be. As like you I don't want to keep putting pills down my throat as on far to many now.

Hope you are pain free at the moment.xx
