Fibromyalgia pain

Just a general question has anyone had an injury which has then caused a bad fibromyalgia reaction? I got referred to pain clinic but didn’t even get accepted managing with co codomal but I cannot do many activities at all

Hi, yes an injury or other illness can cause a flare up in fibro symptoms. Even a simple cold can floor me for weeks after xxx

Sadly the NHS is increasingly managing its workload by denying people their referral even though their GP wants them seen at a hospital. All you can do is make a formal complaint to the hospital, explaining that you are in constant pain and need help. Write to the Patient Liaison team. If they still refuse to accept the referral, take it up with your MP.
