Here is my view on Fibromyalgia and what I do to stay active. It's a symptom. The key is to not treat it like a disease. Symptoms are easier to battle. Move your body. Exercise and diet can drastically reduce symptoms. I feel better on an autoimmune diet and regular juicing meals. When I am eating healthy and moving regularly I hurt way less. I avoid pain and nerve pills they were not worth the side effects and honestly didn't do much. I actually have a very good herbal tea blend that does just as well made of white willow bark, peppermint, ashwaghanda ( sp?), slippery elm, poppy seed and holy basil. I drink it a few days a month when I get a flare up. Gratitude makes it easier. Meditate and use mindfulness techniques to conquer pain. Stretch and move slowly don't over do it on good days and don't push it too far on bad days. Most of all, never give up, never lose hope. Since I am stuck with this thing and I feel like it's not going anywhere but I am determined to live and enjoy my life.

Hi I think you are absolutely bang on, I find gentle yoga stretches and mindfulness/meditation really help. I’ve just had cool radiofrequency denervation on my left and right lumbar spine so have not been able to practice yoga and I definitely notice the difference in my pain/stiffness. Can’t wait to be able to get a bit more active again as it’s so good mentally too.
Like your post. Interested in what "Meditate and use mindfulness techniques you use to conquer pain"
You say "Gratitude makes it easier". Could you elaborate a little. It sounds a very constructive strategy or state of mind.
