i've learned two important things from chronic pain - well, i've forgotten the first, but the second is to write everything down in a way i can actually read later...then remember where i put it and try to imagine who is going to fulfil all those tasks...

'it's not how you get knocked down that matters, it's how you stand back up,' they say. i say i can do that if i can have a long-term peaceful pain-free sleep before i attempt the standing up bit...

just to end on a smile after my rant!
