Morning all just wanted to say hi as I’m new to group. I have depression and anxiety I also have a lot of symptoms of fibromyalgia, I also suffer with seizures when I’m tired and in pain sometimes up to over 100 small seizures in a week but my gp just fobs me off as they are not epilepsy. Does any one else suffer from seizures through tiredness and pain.

healthunlocked.com/fibromya..., morning and welcome, Im guessing when you say you have a lot of symptoms of fibro the doctor you are seeing has not diagnosed you ?? being robbed off what ever reason cannot be pleasant for you so I would consider seeing some else, we need to get our diagnosis aleast for a peace of mind and sometimes relief, I can relate to depression and anxiety having been down this road myself, being unwell a lot of the time can make these 2 worse, after being on citlopram for along while I found this was not working eventually after trial and error was put on duloxtene and the anxiety has been nil , so I am so relieved, I would rather take a med that works for me than go down that path again, has this current doctor helped you with anything ? With having so many seizures you want a doctor that understands what you are currently going through don’t be fobbed off perhaps see someone else, can always take a family member with you for alittle support xx

See an Alexander Teacher. There are things they can do which may be helpful in reducing the symptoms. Do not know what you mean by "seizures". There is a medical definition and there is your use of the word. You need to be a bit more descriptive. I think I know what you may be referring to but I am not sure. And of course may be totally wrong.

Hi

Welcome to this fantastic group. Everyone's so kind and caring. I do think you need to go back to Gp, maybe see a different one and yet, take someone with you. Take care Lynne

Hi I’ve had a eeg and no traces of epilepsy but I am waiting to see a neurologist I’m on Pregabalin which they use to treat seizures. I seem to have these episodes of seizures when I’m in a lot of pain or I’m tired
