So I managed to kick my 600 mg a day habit of pregablin, it took a good few months but Ivee been off it for just over 3 weeks.
So when I went to see my gp the other day about Vit D and other things I asked if I could come off the duloxetine. She said it’s up to you but I think you might find it more difficult so let’s try and see how you get on.
healthunlocked.com/fibromya..., morning it’s something I need to talk to my doctor about I am on one tablet 60mg a day I was put on it for the anxiety not so much for the fibro but has worked 100per cent for that , i have put on a lot of weight though, like yours he might say more difficult but wondering whether to lower the dosage gradually if you would like to lock your posts there is a link above which gives you and other members more privacy as not open to any other site engines on the internet. Oh my goodness the weight I’ve put in is unreal. I’ve been stressing about it for so long but I’m getting there. Hoping if the duloxetine is kicked then I will be fine X
I don't take duloxetine, but I do take pregablin and for me I find it very helpful & thankfully be not put on weight, in fact I've been dieting and have lost nearly 3 stone ☺, can I ask why you decided to come off it?
Becauae all I do is sweat and I’m taking lashing off me even in the winter walking the dogs. Pregablin and duloxetine are renowned for doing this. Plus the weight gain and feeling like I do I decided that I couldn’t be worse off them. So it was hard work but I think the duloxetine is going to be more difficult. But I’m on canabis oil and have weekly Accupuncture too.
I literally thought one day this is ridiculous I felt so minging all the bloody time! So I’m hoping if I can jack in the duloxetine too I won’t perspire as much and I will know if it’s the infections or the bloody fibro! Because regulating ones temp with fibro is like pissing in the snow! X
