Hello again I’ve found out from my GP the scan I’m having is called a PET scan where dye is injected into the Veins and then the MRI follows that, has anyone else had this test ?

Hi there welcome to the group :) Sorry I missed your earlier post. Yes I have had a couple of those kind of scans. Not for fibro though. Mine was when I had an head bleed some years ago.

May I just give you the heads up on how to lock a post to keep it private to this community only.

My dad had it doesn't hurt you won't be allowed around pregnant women young kids or elderly for so many hours but otherwise it did no harm. It was worth it to get results he waiting a long time for test though

Yes I've had this, nothing to worry about ,the dye is so they get a better view,e.g. Bones and tissues deep inside your body ,you'll get a warm feeling and a feeling as if you need a wee,but you won't ,good luck !!
