13 out of 18 symptoms
healthunlocked.com/fibromya..., Morning would be interesting if someone comes along with any advice about this subject, It is hard to give up our daily pleasures but like you said when you gave up you felt worse for it, sometimes things in moderation , I know they say smoking is bad for people but it also seems nowadays nearly every thing we eat and drink there is something, last week I read orange juice could be linked to Cancer, I do think meat is injected with some many chemicals half of what goes in our bodies is more likely to cause Cancer. , If you would like to lock your posts there is a link above. Take care.
I am a smoker too. I know I should quit because it helps clear the toxins that smoking puts into your system. And I can't afford it anymore either.
I've been told that smoking can make it harder to heal after surgeries, dental work, or injury. I've been told lots of things about smoking. But, other than the healing, which might help fibro some, I have never heard it said that smoking makes fibro worse. I was diagnosed 18 years ago.
13 out of 18?? Have a look at this.....

will be referring to tender points and not symptoms.
Also that list is wrong and helps to delegitimise the condition.
Not sure about smoking and fibro but my husband had two heart attacks attributed to smoking. Fortunately he lived to tell the tale but has never touched another cigarette. I tried for years to get him to stop but it took enforced hospital stay to finally stop him. Some other folk can smoke and have absolutely no health issues. We are all different. Have to say however that the bank balance improved considerably as well has his health. For every opinion there will be a counter opinion and for all research quoted someone will come up with something to disprove it. At the end of the day it's down to personal choice. Your rheumatologist probably just mentioned the fact you are a smoker as GPs are given funds to run clinics to try and help people stop smoking - perhaps he was just pointing out that you may be a new recruit!
Hey there Talouse,
I always say "Everyone needs at least 3 vices for a happy life", and a vice doesn't necessarily have to be a bad thing, it's just something that gives us a little bit of pleasure
Fibromyalgia alone, is such a terrible thing to live with already, we are all made miserable by our symptoms, and have very little control over how it savages us.
So my motto is simply: "Do whatever feels good in the soul". Sx ❤️
If that's how you see them, then yes!
