symptoms of fibro

Hi I am new on here and was just wondering if anybody could give me the symptoms of fibromaligia (sorry if I have spelt it wrong), as my daughter saw something on TV and said that it sounds like what I am suffering with. Many Thanks for any help given Julia x

Hello and welcome!

Symptoms are numerous and vary from day-to-day and from person to person.... including fatigue, unexplained aching in muscles and joints, problems with sleeping, irritable bowel and bladder, anxiety and depression... you will find more details on. fibroaction.org (and click on heading "about fibro" )

Probably best to make a list of your symptoms (because with fibromyalgia I get concentration problems and forget things!) And go and speak to your doctor.

Thankyou I will have a look now and let you know, but I have all the things that you say. I have just taken 2 tramadol as i am in so much pain in my hip and just above it,Why does nobody understand you you ??

HI the problem with no one understanding is probably because they cannot comprehend what it is like to have pain and sickness every day.

Added to that a lot off the pain is indescribable and unique to chronic illnesses.

It is like trying to describe snow to a desert dweller or a tree to some one living on the north pole.

We also dont fit into the norm. we dont become ill and the either get better or die. Our Illnesses just go on and on, pinterest.com/pin/484207397...

Hi Thankyou went to my GPs yesterday explained all my symptoms and asked if it could be Fibriomalgia (sorry if i have spelt it wrong). I was told that they have to do a load of tests first to rule out other things, so i am back to square one, i dont know how much more of this i can take x
