My was surprisingly quick about 2 weeks...don't know if everyone are .good luck

It really depends on area to area. I had mine last September and I heard back 3 months later.

Hi Annab I had my face 2 face assessment at home and heard my decision by post around 4 to 5 weeks afterwards. . They did text to to say they had all the information they needed to make a decision too beforehand. I understand timescales also depend on different areas. .I live in Lincolnshire. Good luck.hope you hear favourably soon..x

Was yours for fibromyalgia? If so what was the outcome if u don’t mind me asking x

in reply toAnnab124

Of course I don't mind! It was for fibro, chronic fatigue, osteoarthritis and anxiety and depression. They completely disregarded my fatigue as 'i didn't appear fatigued' and my depression and anxiety, I got standard for daily living and enhanced mobility. I was on enhanced for both before so they dropped me down on daily living even though everything has got worse. I still consider myself lucky that they recognised the fibro, but the assessor left a lot of stuff out so I have put in for mandatory reconsideration. Good luck with your decision! Xx

It can take up to 8 weeks, but you a contact DWP and request a copy of your assessment report and on receiving it see what your award may should be but you still have to wait for the official award confirmation letter.

If it was a bad result they were quick to let me know. If it was a good result they're pretty slow

I had my assessment yesterday. They said at least 4 weeks but could be up to eight I think.
