More pain with mirtazapine

I have been on mirtazapine for a while and I have seem to be in more pain with my joints since been on them was just wondering if that's normal as I have fibromyalgia so I get alot of pain as it is and seem to be more painful since starting the meds

It could be a side effect of the medication. Speak to your doctor and see. It may not be the right medication for you or it could be a side effect that may wear off.

Hi there C0die, Welcome to the group if It was me and I had been on any medication for a while with no results of felt worse. I definitely would go back and talk to my GP.

Hi there I have fibromyalgia too and painful every day! My doctor put me on pregablin and I’m on 650 mg a day but I also have bad anxiety and panic attacks! So sometimes my medication doesn’t work either and doctors say if u get anxiety it makes the pain worse! Just wondering do u get anxiety too? X

Joint pain can be a side effect of some medications.... So if it continues, it is best to mention to your gp. Xxx
