Hi, I am having an additional health problems which is related to everything else, as I also have painful lymph nodes in scalp and head and behind ears which doctors say is connected to my sinus and arthritis and anxiety and sembronic dermatitis on scalp, but also inflamed. Now I have painful boils on scalp and my appointment not until next Thursday as booked up and doctors on holiday. I am exhausted and sleeping most of the day, spending all day washing it and bathroom, can't do anything, so more tired and depression. I am just fed up and couple weeks it even made me so crazy just wanted to die. I am putting some antibiotics cream and gels on like tea tree and neem but not getting better. Can anyone help?

Thanks in advance😎

Hi there, so sorry to hear how bad your feeling. Maybe the things you're using are causing more irritation to your scalp. Maybe trying something a little natural maybe of more benifit. This is what I usually do when I get boils.

Apply warm compresses and soak the boil in warm water. This will decrease the pain and help draw the pus to the surface. ...

When the boil starts draining, wash it with an antibacterial soap until all the pus is gone and clean with rubbing alcohol. ...

Do not pop the boil with a needle this could cause further infection.

Hi, thanks, the pus appears to have gone and the head is gone but it's still very painful and red. Yes, I will do the warm water thing. Something arrived from my chemist which is tea tree, lavender and carica papaya which is recommended by our nurse with coconut oil. I have just washed my hair and scalp and applied it and it has calmed down a lot. I definitely would not pick or burst it but I am baving and washing the dirt and old stuff from around it regularly. Yes, a couple of things did irritate it si I will leave them alone. I will lock my response. Thanks for your help.

Just to say they are getting smaller and less painful and the warm water and bathing helped. Less red today, thanks.

Hi i had these and i smothered my head and hair in apple cider vinegar (you can get it from all major supermarkets) and left it to dry. I went to bed smelling like a chip shop lol. Then washed it of the next morning and didnt get them again for around a year then only odd one here and there which dabbed the apple cider vinegar vinegar on. Look up the wonders of apple cider vinegar its great for us and our pets for many issues.
