Pip mandatory reconsideration.
If you mean has anyone been awarded their right under the PIP scheme and MR, then the answer is yes, although, it is more normal to receive the right via a formal appeal. I suggest you look at Benefits and Work website, complete the questionnaire and see what an independent would award you.
Yes I did, I had a re assessment and they took my PIP away I originally scored 8 on daily living and 4 on mobility.
When reassessed they gave me 4 on daily living and nothing on Mobility.
I put in My MR and got the same as I started with so I get lower daily living.
You have to pick through the notice letter as to reasons why and give reasons why you disagree.
I also said I did not believe they have reviewed all of my medical evidence.
Good outcome in the end but it is a very low percentage of people who win at MR stage.
I was one of the lucky ones.
Hope this helps.
Hiya, only 18% of MR's are successful, the problem is, you still have to do one anyway to get to the tribunal/appeal phase, pretty silly really.
Amber Rudd was meant to be having this looked into because over 70% win at tribunal which obviously doesn't tally with the fact only 18% of people have their award changed at the MR stage.
Yes I did, please look at my previous posts.
I have a good friend who was awarded Enhanced Daily Living and nothing for Mobility. As part of the MR, she got 20 friends to write letters saying what help they gave her when walking from her car to Hydrotherapy and to an Art Class. She then got Enhanced Mobility too. A good result.
Yes linklady , after some time on benefit i was turned down , fifteen years ago . I appealed and got it back. I dont know why they cause us so much stress , but keep at it , you need it. You must have medical records , and see your gp , get his/ her support and you should get it / get it back.
God bless, prayers KT
