Hi I was wondering how I request a copy of my esa medical report ?

You can get DWP report from them in appeal but get a adviser to help you

I haven’t had a decision yet I just wondered like pip if you can request a copy of the assessment report .

Oh if it's just the assessment report then ring and it took upto 2weeks for them to send out a copy

Hi, I accessed my information via my JCP. When you call you need to ask for one of these two documents.

An ESA85 if you attended a WCA, or an ESA85A if a WCA wasn't required. They will then arrange for the paperwork to be send to you. Depending on how long the paperwork takes, you may get that back before they even write with your result. This happened to me. There are other papers you can request but I don't want to confuse anybody. It can get complicated and the ESA85 should give you all the information you need for now.

Thankyou very much . It’s just the hcp report I want . Esa85 I shall call dwp tomorrow and ask for it .

I obviously got someone on phone earlier at dwp who didn’t have a clue . 🙄

Your'e welcome. You could ask for the Decision makers score sheet too if you want to. The JCP kept asking me why I wanted the forms. I simply told them I want to keep my paperwork in case I need to appeal and I want my paperwork filed for future use. This is your information and you are entitled to know what the assessor and the decision maker have said about you and which areas you scored/didn't score points. Good luck with it.

Seems the number on correspondence is the dwp hopefully I will have better joy tomorrow . I don’t know why they said to write to assessment advisory centre to ask for report .

They just like to confuse u 🙄

I wrote to DWP by Signed for post and requested a copy to be posted to me. It took 10 days to arrive. The address was the ESA address in Wolverhampton.

Yes you can write to dwp as suggested above but I called JCP regarding ESA and dwp PIP. Time wise I don't suppose there's much difference

Look up Subject Access Requests.. And also if you search on how to do one in NHS there was a page on the NHS website about how to send to them, possibly the yougov site might have something similar

Whatever you do ALWAYS keep a record of who you speak to and which Handling site, I know this is going to sound obvious but after battling the DWP for nearly a year and having to provide evidence of every communication I’ve had with them in order to be listened to properly and not being dismissed as ‘oh you must have called some other number’ and so on... because of my meticulous record keeping I’ve been able to prove so many inconsistencies and contradictory information. Hope you will have some luck with your claim x

Had my pip very very early renewal assessment last week to so

fingers crossed that ones positive too .
