Here's one to scratch your heads over. This morning I woke up with a numb lower left leg. I realised this when I moved my leg under the quilt and it felt strange. I even resorted to the truck of poking with a sharp (ish) object. It was decidedly numb and I'm now completely perplexed. It's not gone, even now, and I'm beginning to wonder if it has got anything to do with wandering around IKEA yesterday with my Daughter, her Partner and my Hubby. I can tell you all this, it makes for dinner extremely strange sensations when I walk. I can feel my foot and my upper leg, but the bit in between, nothing. I'm not sure either whether to go to see my GP about it. Any ideas? Anyone?? 🤔

Numb!
Hi how's your back, as it could be trapped nerves causing it... but to put your mind at rest it's probably worth seeing your Dr. Sorry I'm not much help😕
Hi, thanks for the reply. Yeah, I do have back issues, it comes from having had 4 Lumbar Punctures within the space of 2 years. This was due to having had Meningitis B in 2011. I didn't get the rest I should have had after the last one, I was transferred from Acute Admissions to Communicable Diseases ward just an hour after the test. Cue possible damage to spinal nerves. The numbness is less today so I'm going to wait and see what happens. If it persists, I'll make an appointment to see my GP. Don't worry, your reply was a great help. X

Reassuring to hear I’m not the only one who gets numbness and neurologist couldn’t come up with an explanation.
I'm not alone! It reassures me to know that this isn't just me, unfortunately I feel bad for all of you who suffer with this. I've had MRI scans and an Electro Stimulus test. None of which seem to show anything. Guess it's a thing I have to get used to. B12 is something that I'm on top of. Because I've had Bariatric Surgery, a Gastric Bypass, I have to have regular B12 injections. I've just recently had the dreaded jab so I'm pretty sure my levels are ok. So far, I haven't had any falls but I do tend to shuffle or even stagger when it's at its worst. Thanks for the replies, it really does help to have input from others. Hugs to you all. X
